Terms and Conditions

All equipment used in sessions is supplied by Little Bear woods. It will be regularly checked for health and safety reasons and cleaned after every session.  Customers must not bring their own equipment unless specific to a child’s needs.

Sessions need to be booked and paid in advance and refunds will not be offered if customers cannot attend the session. If the customer contacts Little Bear Woods in advance the session leader will do their best to find an alternative session for the customer. Customers must book in advance so details of the customer are needed and numbers will be a maximum of 15 families.

Every effort is made to ensure that our sessions will run as advertised. However, Little Bear Woods reserves the right to alter the session without notice, due to needs of the amount of children present, or weather conditions. This also applies to the cancellation of sessions if extreme weather conditions or illness of staff occurs. Customers would be offered an alternative session in these circumstances.

All litter bought into the forest must also be taken home. The Little Bear Woods ethos is to respect the environment and to teach this to our ‘Little Bears’ too.

Parking is in the allocated parking close to the site area. Cars must drive only on the gravel area as some areas without gravel can become wet and boggy. Little Bear Woods will not be held responsible for driving into areas that are not allocated parking. The parking area will be clear marked out with logs for easy access.

Photos will be taken of the backs of heads of children with customer consent. By agreeing to the ts and cs this consent is given, however if there are any concerns please speak to myself at the session and I will ensure children are not placed in any pictures. I will take pictures from the back and blur out any faces before using on social media.

Hot drinks are supplied on site. Adults are responsible for their own drinks. A reusable cup with a lid is advised especially as young children are around. Please bring these to the sessions with you.

Health and safety comes first at Little Bear Woods. Appropriate clothing and shoes should be worn to prevent slipping or becoming too cold. In the case of an accident Kelly Berryman is first aid trained and will have a first aid box on site.

Many thanks Little Bear Woods
